UNAM Press has launched Comparative Law and Jurisprudence in Namibia: Functions, Methods and Perspectives from Selected Jurisdictions, a new academic text on legal systems.
Deputy Judge President, Lady Justice Hannelie Prinsloo, said the launch should “inspire the next generations” while speaking on behalf of Chief Justice Peter Shivute.
UNAM’s Jacob Nyambe added that the book’s timing was perfect, while Dr. Kennedy Kariseb stressed the value of comparative analysis amid global legal turbulence.
Co-editor and law professor Samuel Amoo described it as “a superb book” that equips legal professionals with critical tools for reform and international understanding.
