The remains of the late Jackson Kaujeua Jr. arrived in the country today, where he was received by close family members and fellow artists at Hosea Kutako International Airport.

The sombre arrival drew an emotional gathering as loved ones and colleagues paid their respects to the acclaimed artist, who passed away in Norway on September 7.

Family members expressed gratitude for the support shown by the music fraternity and the public during this period of mourning.

A small gathering will be held at the family home in Windhoek today, while a memorial service is planned for Okatope, Onyanya Constituency, in the Oshikoto Region. The funeral will take place at Okangili, Omandongo-Onayena, on 4 October.
