Ten learners from Abraham Iyambo Primary School received their school uniforms through a back-to-school programme.

The initiative aims to assist learners from vulnerable households in the community, with hopes to boost the learners' morale and keep them engaged in school.

Moses ||Garoeb Constituency Regional Councillor Stefanus Ndengu explained that "Through this programme, learners from vulnerable households receive full school uniforms, including shoes, school bags, socks, trousers and other essential items, at a total cost of N$50,000. This initiative ensures that our learners return to school with dignity, confidence, and an equal chance to focus on their education."

The Head of Department at Abraham Iyambo Primary School, Liina Nahambo, said the school serves over 3,000 learners, mostly from vulnerable backgrounds.

"Through this back-to-school initiative, they are boosting our learners' confidence and their attendance. When they wear the school uniform, they feel confident. They look like others, and they are very proud."
