The Coastal Warriors Volleyball Club, led by its founder and coach Tobias Andreas, is actively seeking to boost youth engagement in Swakopmund. Andreas highlighted that despite a growing interest in the sport throughout Namibia, participation among the youth remains lower than expected.

Andreas emphasizes that increasing involvement at the grassroots level is essential for identifying and nurturing future talent. Speaking with NBC Sport, he urged parents to support their children's interests by allowing them to attend regular training sessions.

"I am asking parents of Swakopmund to let kids come enjoy with others to unlock their potential, because currently volleyball is one of the sports that's more recognized in the country. We need players to represent our country from the Erongo region," Andreas explained.

He further noted that providing these opportunities does more than just teach the game; it also fosters essential life skills. According to Andreas, active participation in sports like volleyball contributes significantly to the development of discipline, teamwork, and overall personal growth among young athletes.
