"Academia will not be the same without Mwanyangapo, and NBC will never be the same without him. But he has left footprints for us to follow."
Those were the words of Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare as he paid tribute to the late NBC veteran Lameck Mwanyangapo.

Ngurare visited the bereaved Mwanyangapo family at their home in Academia, Windhoek, where he described the veteran broadcaster's death as a painful and shocking loss.

He remembered him as a strong, energetic and dedicated individual who made a lasting contribution to NBC and the wider community.
He said Mwanyangapo's death leaves a void, but his legacy would continue through those he inspired.
