The Kavango East Region is experiencing an increase in malaria cases. 

16 people have died so far since the end of last year after more than 13,000 cases were reported, leaving over a thousand patients hospitalised.

The Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) will start with the Namibia Household Income and Expenditure Survey (NHIES) 2025/2026 next Monday.

The year-long survey will run until April next year, covering all the country's 14 regions.
