The Okondjatu Combined School hostel in the Okakarara Constituency remains without an ablution facility following a fire outbreak about 12 years ago.

The Okondjatu Combined School received equipment worth N$150,000 from Kaijata Kangueehi, who is a former learner of the school from the late 1970s.

Senior political leaders and staff of the education directorate undertook a visit to the Okondjatu Combined School in Okakarara Constituency. 

This follows the circulation of images and videos depicting the deplorable condition at the school.
