The Namibia University of Science and Technology Council has re-advertised the position of Vice-Chancellor to broaden the recruitment process.

Otjozondjupa Governor John ||Khamuseb raised concern over alleged unfair recruitment practices in the region's education sector.

The governor was speaking at the State of Education engagement held in Otjiwarongo.

Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare announced on X that approximately 4,310 young people are being recruited into the public sector across all 14 regions.

He said these recruitments are in line with governments' efforts to tackle youth unemployment.
