The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Ministerial Committee of the Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation has reaffirmed that peace and security remain the bedrock of regional integration and economic development.
The Ministerial Committee further expressed sympathy and solidarity for the gas explosion that occurred on Wednesday in Johannesburg, South Africa.
One person died in the explosion, and 48 were injured.
SADC will hold the 25th Ordinary Meeting of the Ministerial Committee of the Organ on Politics, Defence, and Security Cooperation tomorrow in Windhoek.
