For the first time in Rundu's history, residential areas are having their gravel roads upgraded to tar.

People living in Rundu have never had the pleasure of experiencing a tarred road in their residential areas. 

Keetmanshoop Mayor, Annelize Knaus, has commissioned a series of interlocked paved roads in the Westdene and Kronlein residential areas. 

Families of the victims of the recent shack fire in the Tulinawa and Mondesa residential areas in Swakopmund are still traumatised and left at the mercy of good Samaritans.
