As the festive season brings forth a wave of generosity, Otjozondjupa Regional Council Chairperson and Otjiwarongo Constituency Councillor, Marlene Mbakera, has stepped forward to spread joy.

Swapo Party Member of Parliament and leader assigned to the Kunene Region, Bernadette Jagger, says the continued strides in welcoming new and returning members are an indication there is trust for the party to continue leading and serving the nation.

The Municipality of Omaruru has resolved to address its 117-year-old sewerage system and get all its residential and business areas connected to the main sewerage line.

Currently, residents are served by two trucks that collect sewerage waste throughout the day.

Electrical, water, and sewer connections have been completed for ultra-low-income housing units built by the Omaruru Municipality.

The houses were built to accommodate families relocated in June this year from dilapidated single-quarter houses.
