National Council concludes 6th term with final session

Finance Minister Shafudah reallocates N$1.2 billion in mid-term budget review

Finance Minister Erica Shafudah has reallocated N$1.2 billion in her mid-term budget review, tabled in the National Assembly this afternoon.

The bulk of the reallocation will go towards the government's Subsidised Free Tertiary Education, during the first quarter of next year.

The National Council MPs debated on the second reading featuring the Appropriation Amendment Bill.

The bill solely looks at revising and reallocating resources without changing the total amount of expenditure.
