The University of Namibia (UNAM) is hosting the inaugural Southern African Prostate Cancer Summit, which aims to bring coordinated attention to prostate cancer as a growing public health issue in the region.

Namibia is hosting the 19th Interest 2025 Conference, which is Africa's leading scientific gathering on HIV treatment, prevention and research. 

The conference that was originally scheduled for 2020 is now taking place in Windhoek after being held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Namibia and China are looking to improve the way goods move between the two countries. The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) and the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to boost cooperation in customs operations.
