Namibia has called for renewed international efforts to end nuclear testing and advance global nuclear disarmament.

The 4th Junior National Council opened debates with the motion urging the government to invest in child-responsive, climate-resilient water, sanitation and hygiene infrastructure in schools and communities across the country. 

Tsumkwe leaders have called for urgent development interventions, saying that challenges such as unemployment and limited access to government services continue to affect communities in the constituency.

The Hardap Region remains committed to supporting national priorities, strengthening regional development, and improving the living conditions of communities.

Hardap Governor Riaan McNab said this when he delivered the State of the Region address at Mariental.

Flooding along the Kunene River in the Epupa Constituency has displaced several households, damaging homes and crops as water levels rose sharply.
