Leaders, family, and friends of the late Sagarias Komeheke have described him as a friend to all, someone who was passionate about and always dedicated towards his work, and a top-class informer.

Komeheke, who was a nbc freelancer working at Omurari Radio in Gobabis, died on April 25th, aged 52.

Speaker after speaker said Komeheke placed the Omaheke Region on the map through his hard work and unwavering commitment.

Speaking at the memorial service in Gobabis, Omaheke Governor Pijoo Nganate informed the gathering that most of the political leaders in the region today are well known through Komeheke's work, as he always pitched up at their offices at any given time.

Nganate stressed that nbc and the public have lost someone who will always find his own way of informing the nation and contributing in that way to regional development.

On behalf of the public broadcaster, the Chief of News and Programme Officer, Menesia Muinjo, says the broadcaster lost a stalwart, especially when it comes to news contributions.

Gobabis Mayor Melba Tjozongoro pointed out that the late Komeheke always kept them on their toes through his work.

Komeheke will be buried on Saturday at Toasis Village in the Aminuis constituency.
