The nbc Drama School is inviting aspiring filmmakers to apply for its programme designed to train Namibia’s next generation of leaders in film and television.

This initiative will offer participants the opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience, work on professional short films, and develop storytelling skills in collaboration with like-minded creatives.

Participants will also receive practical training to prepare them for real-world productions.

The call is open to aspiring filmmakers aged 18 to 35, though exceptions may be made for experienced candidates.

The programme encourages unemployed or available applicants who can fully commit to the training, with a particular focus on welcoming diverse voices and backgrounds.

Applicants are required to submit a 2-minute film showcasing their skills, three pages of an original story, a portfolio or samples of previous work, and a motivation letter explaining why they are the ideal candidate.

Submissions should be sent to NBCDramaSchool@nbc.na before February 28.

For further information, interested applicants can contact 061-2912254.
