President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has arrived in Harare, Zimbabwe, ahead of her scheduled talks with her counterpart, Emmerson Mnangagwa, on Tuesday.

The Namibian leader is on an introductory visit to Zimbabwe.

These visits are, in part, a long-standing tradition in the SADC region, undertaken once a new president assumes power to discuss matters of mutual concern across various key areas.

President Nandi-Ndaitwah began this series of visits in Mozambique, where she held talks with that country’s President, Daniel Chapo.
