21 youth in business from the |Khomas Region's Windhoek West Constituency received income-generating equipment worth N$277,000.

The equipment aims to enhance their business and make income generation easier for them.

Businesses such as catering and baking, salons and spas, and welding and construction services are some of the businesses which have benefited from the programme.

The initiative also aims to boost job creation.

Windhoek West Councillor Emma Muteka urged the beneficiaries to use the equipment adequately and make sure that they invest in creating jobs.

Beneficiaries hope that the donation will enable them to grow.
