Vice President Lucia Witbooi officially unveiled the plaque of the Keetmanshoop Vocational Training Centre in the ||Kharas Region.

The centre forms part of the Namibia Training Authority’s strategic efforts to expand and transform the TVET sector, with a focus on improving access and strengthening its presence across all fourteen regions of the country.

Spanning approximately 300,000 square meters, the centre has been designated a specialised hub for the energy sector, with particular emphasis on oil, gas, and green hydrogen.

N$11.7 million was allocated for Phase 1 of the project, while a further N$103 million has been committed for Phase 1B construction, reflecting the government's continued investment in infrastructure to support vocational training and economic growth.
