High Commissioner to Zambia Gomes Menette has urged Vision Bridge Educational Advisory to help Namibian students studying in Zambia.

The institution deals with the affairs of international students in the SADC region.

Zambia is experiencing an influx of foreign students, predominantly from Malawi, Eswatini, Botswana, Namibia, and Zimbabwe.

Namibia has over 500 students in various tertiary institutions in the country.

Most of the students are struggling with accommodation as tertiary institutions are either fully booked or have no boarding facilities.

Vision Bridge Educational Advisory, a company that offers consultation services for foreign students, engaged Namibia's High Commissioner for Zambia, Gomes Menette.

Vision Bridge Educational Advisory's Director of Student Affairs in Zambia, Clarence Mfula, outlined some of the solutions his company can offer.

The organisation also stressed the need for parents to contact them so that they are sure of their children's status while they are away.

It also runs a rehabilitation centre specifically for foreign patients in a bid to reduce drug curtails that could be difficult to break in their respective countries.
