Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) Member of Parliament Rosa Mbinge-Tjeundo has raised concerns about the state of the country's education system.

The Namibian Police in the ||Kharas Region have confirmed that they are actively investigating an alleged N$3.9 million fraud involving August 26 Construction, a subsidiary of August 26 Holdings, and officials from the ||Kharas Regional Council.

Deputy Prime Minister Natangwe Ithete is currently in the Omusati Region, assessing the flood situation as delegated by Head of State Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. His mission is to observe the impact of the floods on people and property.

The three boys who tragically died from a lightning strike earlier this month were buried on Saturday in Katenture village, Mukwe Constituency, Kavango East Region.

The boys were Frans Thinyemba (14), Matamu Nyambi (4), and Dinyando Kathumbi (5).

The Ncaute community in the Ncuncuni Constituency of Kavango West Region has gathered in the heart of the village to celebrate the country’s 35th independence, albeit belatedly.

Residents of all ages are joining in the festivities to sing, dance, and enjoy themselves.
