The Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts and Culture is collaborating with the Namibia Planned Parenthood Association to reopen youth-friendly clinics across the country's 14 regions.

This is in response to issues specific to young people, including sexual and reproductive health needs.

Discussion on the national budget shifted to analysing the Appropriation Bill's responsiveness to gender and youth concerns during a public engagement hosted by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, the Youth Leadership Programme, and the Trade Union Congress of Namibia. 

Storybooks Namibia was launched today in Okahandja as a free open educational resource aimed at promoting literacy and language learning in homes, schools, and communities.

A newborn baby boy survived after being abandoned in the bushes at Bunya village in the Kavango West Region on Tuesday. 

According to Kavango West Police spokesperson Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga, the mother, who is unknown, delivered the baby in the bushes.

The Cabinet has directed the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Land Reform to commence community awareness about the possible spread of the locust outbreak in the SADC region.
