Erongo Region's Waldfrieden Primary School on the outskirts of Omaruru town has received a donation of N$100,000 to upgrade the school.

The money was donated by Walvis Bay-based businessman Johnny Doeseb and family.

Omaheke Regional Council has resolved to support the development of irrigation systems in the Aminuis and Okorukambe constituencies to assist in food security efforts and improve drought resilience in the region.

The victim has been identified as Axon Samupwa, who sustained serious arm and facial injuries.
