MVA Fund urges affected fatal Auas Road crash families to claim benefits 

The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund has extended an invitation to families affected by the tragic crash on Auas Road on Tuesday to submit claims for funeral and injury grants, loss of support, and loss of income benefits.

The City of Windhoek has announced that municipal tariffs have been increased by five percent since the 1st of October.

The increase relates to water, rates and taxes, sewerage, and waste management.

The Ombu Heritage Festival, which aims to preserve the culture of the OvaHerero-speaking people, was hosted over the weekend at the Ombu cultural village in the Otjozondjupa Region.

Namibia's water utility, NamWater, has donated essential stationery to at least 15 schools in the Kavango East Region.

This will help address the shortage of teaching and learning materials and improve learners's performance at the schools.

The Grootfontein Municipality has named 27 streets in Omulunga Extention 2 after different minerals that are indigenous to the Grootfontein Constituency. 

Street names provide essential references for navigation, helping residents, visitors, and emergency services locate addresses easily.
