President Nangolo Mbumba says it is refreshing that citizens now live in an era in which they have the opportunity to tell their own stories and to appreciate the narratives of Namibians as told from their own perspective.

Secretary to Cabinet George Simataa has broken his silence on his role in the now defunct Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Bank in his newly released memoir titled ''Timeless: My Career in the Public Service''.

The Students' Union of Namibia (SUN) has raised concerns over the lack of functional toilets and water at Ndama Junior Primary School, which has left learners without proper sanitation for three weeks and led to the suspension of classes. 

The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) has commended the contractor for the Ombili clinic in Otjiwarongo, which was completed two months ahead of time.

The construction of the Ombili clinic began in April this year and was due to be completed in November.

542 people have committed suicide thus far, and the Health Ministry is intensifying efforts to create awareness and advocate for mental health education in the ||Kharas and Hardap regions ahead of World Mental Health Day. 

The day is commemorated each year on the 10th of December.
