The Second Chance Foundation launched its Crime Prevention Campaign in Oshakati, Oshana Region.

The campaign aims to reintegrate ex-convicts and raise awareness, advocate, and educate the public, particularly the youth, about crime prevention.

The Trans Kalahari Corridor Secretariat and key stakeholders are working towards promoting compliance and increasing the visibility of law enforcement along the corridor to deter unlawful behaviours and ensure a safe transit environment for all, amongst other objectives. 

The Windhoek-Hosea Kutako International Airport road has also been named the 'Dr. Hage Geingob Freeway'. 

President Nangolo Mbumba said the late Dr. Geingob has left behind a rich and proud legacy. 

Six months after the death of President Hage Geingob, who would have celebrated his 83rd birthday today, Namibians gathered at Heroes' Acre for a remembrance ceremony.
 
Dr. Geingob, Namibia's third president, died on February 4th this year.

Today marks six months since the passing of President Hage Geingob and would have been his 83rd birthday.

In honour of his memory, a Remembrance Ceremony will be held at Heroes' Acre, officiated by President Nangolo Mbumba.
