Swakopmund residents have proposed that the constituency be divided into two to better deliver services to the growing population.

The constituency population has grown by 41 percent since 2011.

About 700 people from the Zambezi and Kavango regions are undergoing cataract surgery in Rundu.  

This annual surgical eye campaign is about improving eye health and empowering patients to lead fuller, more independent lives. 

One Basket donates 300 mattresses to Ashipala Secondary School in Elim in the Omusati Region. 

The company also undertakes to repair 41 hostel beds.

The school has 627 learners, of whom 523 are accommodated in the hostel.
