Housebreaking suspect shot dead

A suspect was fatally shot by City Police officers after trying to flee from a house-breaking incident in Khomasdal.

The incident occurred at around three this morning when City Police members attempted to verbally stop two male suspects who were breaking into a house in Khomasdal and broke the gate.

The former Swanu President and veteran politician, Dr. Rihupisa Kandando, was buried at Omitivine village in Aminuis constituency over the weekend.

Dr. Kandando died on the 23rd of December, aged 60. He was accorded an official
funeral by President Hage Godfried Geingob.
