The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has awarded the contract to print and deliver ballot papers for the 2025 Regional Councils and Local Authorities elections to the South African company Uniprint Global.

Deputy Minister of Urban and Rural Development Evelyn !Nawases-Tayele has stressed that Kombat is a settlement under the administration of the Otjozondjupa Regional Council and has not been considered for proclamation as a town or village council.
