Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa briefed the media following discussions with his Namibian counterpart Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at the State House in Harare.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah was in Mozambique for a one-day working visit today.

The visit on Monday follows recent trips to Angola, Zambia, and Botswana as President Nandi-Ndaitwah looks to build on the country's relations and to introduce herself as the new president of Namibia.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has arrived in Harare, Zimbabwe, ahead of her scheduled talks with her counterpart, Emmerson Mnangagwa, on Tuesday.

The Namibian leader is on an introductory visit to Zimbabwe.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah today visited Maputo, Mozambique, where she held bilateral talks with counterpart President Daniel Chapo.

The visit forms part of ongoing regional engagement by the president, aimed at strengthening economic and political cooperation.
