President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has moved to elevate Namibia's partnership with China, placing youth employment, trade and investment at the centre of talks as she opened her state visit in Guangdong Province.
President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah departed this morning for China, where she will further cement long-standing diplomatic ties between Namibia and China.
She was accorded full state honours as she took off from the Hosea Kutako International Airport.
China and Namibia marked the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Horse, with a cultural celebration highlighting growing people-to-people ties between the two countries.
