It's been nearly five days since Namibia embarked on its election process.

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) is now in the process of counting, verifying, tallying, and announcing the provisional results.

Two election terms—spoilt and rejected ballots—strongly stand out in the results so far.

There are particularly high incidences of rejected ballots.

Earlier on, the ECN's Deputy Director for Elections Administrations, Thomas Shapi, explained the difference between the two.
