In a public demonstration of faith, members of the Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church took to the streets of Windhoek to portray the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
The parade started at the Windhoek Police Station and made its way into the city centre, capturing the attention of passersby.
Dressed in garments resembling those worn in biblical times, members brought the story of Jesus’s crucifixion to life scene by scene.
The parade symbolized Jesus’s arrest, and continued through Independence Avenue, drawing crowds and sparking emotional reactions.
One of the church’s pastors, Samson Lugambo says the public portrayal is meant to remind people of the true meaning of Easter.
He emphasizes that this is a way of taking the message of the Gospel to the people.
Pastor Lugambo mentioned that Jesus died for everyone, and this demonstration is meant to touch hearts and bring hope to those who watch.
The Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church says they hope the display inspires reflection and draws more people to the message of salvation and forgiveness.
