The Pretoria High Court will deliver the long-awaited judgement tomorrow on where the late former Zambian President Edgar Lungu will be buried.

The family of the late former president almost buried his remains in South Africa before the Zambian government went to court in late June to stop the process.

The government initially hoped that between then and now, both parties could have reached consensus, but to no avail.

Last Monday, both parties submitted their final verbal submissions.

Zambia's Attorney General Mulilo Kabesha, who sued on behalf of the Zambian government today, told the media in South Africa that what is important is to give the late former Zambian leader a befitting send-off, whether in Zambia or South Africa.

Kabesha further pledged government support to the Lungu family, even after the burial.

Edgar Lungu died on 5th June in South Africa, where he had been receiving treatment since early January.
