Miss Teen International Namibia, Elaine Engelbrecht, showcased the national costume, which is inspired by the San people, at the pageant being held in Jaipur, India.
The costume is a celebration of Namibia's heritage, paying homage to the San people's culture and deep connection with nature.

The San are among the world's oldest tribes, and Engelbrecht took to the stage with steps mimicking the San people's hunting skills, in which they run alongside their prey.
The costume surface is adorned with intricate designs, echoing ancient rock art, telling stories of survival, spirituality, and harmony with the environment.
Each bead and shell speaks to the San people's craftsmanship and their enduring relationship with the land.

The skirt, made of carefully crafted canvas material, reflects the animal skins used in daily life.
A bow and arrow are a central element of the San people's existence.
Miss Namibia Organisation CEO Umbi Karuaihe-Upi said the national costume is more than an outfit, citing that it is a living history rooted in heritage and a symbol of the country's unbreakable spirit.

She added that it is part of the organisation's duty to showcase Namibia's culture and diversity and to educate the world about the beautiful cultures of the San people.
NBC PR Manager, Beaulah Boois-Beukes, applauded all Namibians for rallying behind Engelbrecht.
