The media and stakeholders of the One Economy Foundation have applauded the work of the Foundation as well as the operations of the #BeFree Youth Campus in the heart of Katutura.

The Foundation held a celebration event, which also included a tour of the campus on Friday.

The gathering sought to express heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors and donors of the recently held 10th annual fundraising evening.

It also showcased the tangible impact of their contributions through first-hand experience of the campus, strengthened relations, and provided a networking platform.

The #BeFree Movement, a flagship of the One Economy Foundation, is a youth initiative founded by former First Lady Monica Geingos in 2016.

The movement creates safe spaces for young people to openly discuss issues affecting them, such as mental health, gender-based violence, HIV, sexuality, unemployment, and substance abuse.

Other services offered are sexual and reproductive health, counselling, and career guidance.

Miss Namibia 2025, Johanna Swartbooi, also got a chance to engage with the young people at the campus.
