The Brave Warriors secured a crucial 3-0 victory over São Tomé and Príncipe this afternoon at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, Botswana.

Namibia came close to scoring in the 24th minute when David Ndeunyema's shot was brilliantly saved by the São Tomé goalkeeper.

The Brave Warriors continued to press for an opener, and their persistence paid off in the 41st minute when Peter Shalulile found the back of the net, assisted by Ndeunyema.

Namibia went into halftime with two shots on target, one of which was the goal.

After the break, the Brave Warriors kept up the pressure, and in the 66th minute, Shalulile doubled the lead.

Just five minutes later, he completed his hat-trick with a clinical finish in the 71st minute, sealing a dominant performance.

The game ended 3-0 in favor of Namibia, a result that keeps their hopes of qualifying for the best runner-up playoff spot alive.

The Brave Warriors remain second in the group with 15 points from 8 matches.
