The Hossiana Lutheran Parish in Windhoek joined Christians worldwide on Thursday, 25 December, to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

The church was filled with worshippers who gathered with family and friends to mark Christmas Day. During the service, theologian Thomas Kandume reminded congregants that Christmas is not only a time of celebration but also a moment to reflect on the meaning of Christ's birth.

He emphasised that Jesus came to bring hope, light, peace, and salvation to humanity. The message highlighted repentance and the importance of living according to God's ways, urging believers to surrender their lives to Jesus and follow his teachings.

The celebration featured prayer and hymns.
