The Ministry of Justice and Labour Relations launched the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, highlighting the aim to improve a sense of urgency in delivering social justice.

The Minister of Justice and Labour Relations, Fillemon Wise Immanuel says the plan focuses on people who need justice, saying citizens expect better services, and need institutions and officials to protect their rights.

"At a core of the strategic plan documents that we are going to launch today, it's people. It's people seeking for justice. I talk of the really issue that are facing us, so that we realize how central we are to the mandate of the Ministry. And I am saying those justice seekers in the capitalist denominations expect much from us. They want more of us. They are looking for reform. They want the institution. They are strong and able to safeguard their interest,” he said.

The Executive Director for Labour Relations, Ben Nangombe says monitoring should be done continously to ensure improvements,

"It is not a question of waiting five years later to do the monitoring and evaluation. It must be a continuous process so that we self-correct, we change course if necessary. So through this plan, we as a ministry are committing ourselves to serve the people of Namibia with purpose in a responsive manner, in an efficient manner, and to do so through accountability and transparency,” he said.

The launch highlights justice seekers' demand for reform and strong institution, while the ministry commits to continuous monitoring, accountability and better service delivery.
