The Namibia Special Risks Insurance Association has handed over sponsorships to various institutions and organisations as part of its corporate social responsibility on education, health, sport, agriculture and community development.

The N$ 231,800 investment includes the Oupumakoko Combined School, Okanimekwa Combined School, the Insurance Institute of Namibia, the Rob Youth Foundation, Boas Ekandjo Pre-Primary School, I.K. Tjimuhiva Combined School, and the Namibia Correctional Services.

Managing Director of NASRIA John Uusiku explained.

“It's essentially to ensure that the NASRIA's limited resources are equitably distributed to the Namibian people.”

Uusiku is optimistic that with collective action, Namibia will build stronger resilience and offer hope and opportunities for all.

He urged the beneficiaries to use the funds to strengthen their institutions and communities.

“Let these investments build a solid foundation for your institutions and for the communities where you are coming from.”

NASRIA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting community initiatives that contribute to their social and economic development.
