As part of the ongoing efforts to raise awareness about cervical cancer, a new campaign has been launched this January to encourage women aged 20 to 49 to get screened.

Suicide rates in Namibia, as in many parts of the world, show a concerning trend, with men being disproportionately affected.

According to recent statistics, men in Namibia have significantly higher suicide rates compared to women.

||Kharas Governor Aletha Frederick has said that the significant drop in the region's academic performance cannot be overlooked. 

The Governor of the Cunene Province, Gerdina Didalelwa along with her delegation paid a visit to the Ongos Valley and the Havanna High School, as part of the programme during their week-long visit to the capital.

The inaugural session of the official visit by a delegation from the Provincial Government of Cunene, Angola, signifies a significant step toward enhancing bilateral cooperation and shared initiatives between Namibia and Angola.
