Hope Home-Based Health Care has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Welwitschia University of Namibia.

Through the MoU, Hope Home-Based Health Care will provide technical training to students from the university, who will in turn provide knowledge to employees in the non-profit organisation.

The Municipality of Swakopmund, in partnership with Langer Heinrich Uranium Mine, has officially concluded the Youth Entrepreneurial Development Initiative.

The programme has empowered a total of 85 young entrepreneurs across various business sectors.

Residents of Keetmanshoop have questioned the legality of the Landless People's Movement's decision to withdraw former Mayor Melody Swartbooi as its representative on the Keetmanshoop Town Council.

The withdrawal resulted in Swartbooi losing her mayor position.

The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and MultiChoice Namibia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their partnership to enhance broadcasting services in the country.

The commitment was reiterated during a visit by MultiChoice Namibia to the NBC's Director General, Menesia Muinjo.

Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare has called on the youth to optimise entrepreneurship as a means of empowering themselves.

Ngurare said this in his address during the Nkurenkuru expo fundraising gala dinner at Nkurenkuru.
