The achievements and stories of Namibia's Paralympic athletes took centre stage at the launch of a book titled "No Obstacle is Too Great to Overcome - Paralympic Athletes of Namibia" in Windhoek.

Permanent missions at the United Nations, including Namibia’s, attended a briefing on the unfolding humanitarian situation in Cuba, where officials warned hospitals are suspending surgeries and facing severe medicine shortages.

Police at Grootfontein are investigating a case of rape and murder after the body of a 28-year-old woman was found at a dumping site in the Kaap n' Bou informal settlement on Saturday.
