Miss Namibia, Johanna Swartbooi, returned home following her participation in the 74th Miss Universe Pageant Finale, held on 21 November in Thailand. 

Swartbooi did not advance to the Top 30, exiting the competition after the preliminary round.

Miss Namibia Johanna Swartbooi has set her sights on the universe as she departed to represent Namibia at the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand, scheduled for November 2 to 21, 2025. 

The 28-year-old model hopes to represent the unity and cultural diversity of Namibia on the global stage. 

MMA fighter Veja Hinda is currently in Thailand for a training camp, and he has been enjoying his time on the island, constantly working and striving to improve his skills. As the 2023 Sportman of the Year, Hinda is grateful for the opportunity to train in South East Asia.

Two newly appointed diplomats from Russia and Thailand say expanding agriculture, foreign service, and investments in technology, top the agenda of cooperation between Namibia and their respective countries.
