As the leadership of the City of Windhoek Council enters its final year in office, key executives and stakeholders gathered under the theme “Strengthening Accountability, Engagement, and Service Delivery” to reflect on the achievements and challenges of the 2024/2025 financial year.

The engagement aime

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) held a stakeholder engagement at Katima Mulilo to assess their readiness for the supplementary registration of voters slated for the 4th to the 19th of August 2025.

The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Namibia, Elsie Nghikembua, says the electoral management body is committed to maintaining the highest standard of integrity and transparency in the electoral process.

The Omaheke Education Directorate emphasised that the future success of education relies on collective efforts from all stakeholders.

Director Constance Wantenaar made the remarks at a regional prize-giving ceremony in Gobabis.  

The Namibia Qualification Authority (NQA) recently hosted a stakeholder information session at Omuthiya in the Oshikoto Region.

The NQA used the platform to educate stakeholders on its mandate and qualification standards.

There was a lively debate in the Junior National Council (JNC) as members talked about how to make the education system better in the future.

Members discussed how parents, teachers, learners, and other stakeholders all have roles to play.

The Public Service Commission is holding a stakeholder engagement at Keetmashoop to discuss matters pertaining to human resources administration and management.

A local company, South Haven Commodities, has stepped up to rehabilitate the borehole of Dr. Fischer Primary School in the Aminuis Constituency which has been dysfunctional since last year.

The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) is inviting the creative industry for a stakeholder engagement session next Tuesday.

The engagement session is necessitated following concerns from the creatives on tax registration and payment.
