6th Nama Cultural Festival preparations in place

Final preparations are complete for the 6th edition of the Nama Cultural Festival, set to take place from 29 May into early June in Keetmanshoop. The festival is an annual celebration of the rich heritage, traditions, and identity of the Nama people.

||Kharas joins tree-planting to honour late Nujoma’s birthday

Taxi operators protest against directive

Keetmanshoop-based long-distance taxi operators have condemned the recent ministerial directive permitting seven-seater vehicles to operate on long-distance routes. 

The Minister of Works and Transport, Veiko Nekundi, recently issued the directive.
