The ||Kharas Education Directorate is set to re-introduce extra classes during holidays for Grade 11 and Grade 12 AS level learners to improve their performance.

Ryan Assegaai, Inspector for the Kalahari Circuit, revealed this in an interview with nbc News.

Farmers at the Hardap Irrigation Scheme are worried about the critically low levels of the Hardap Dam due to poor rainfall in the area.

They say if the dry conditions continue, it may have an adverse impact on the irrigation scheme that relies on water for production.

The Namibia Airports Company (NAC) has announced that flights to Luderitz Airport resumed on Friday.

Fly Namibia on Thursday cancelled its scheduled flights to and from the airport due to safety issues caused by unforeseen mechanical problems with the firefighting vehicle operated by the NAC.

Despite dropping from second position to third on the 2023 NSSC Grade 11 national level ranking, the ||Kharas Region has improved overall on its C-plus grading compared to 2022.
