Development coming to Wlotzkasbaken settlement

The Minister of Urban and Rural Development, Erastus Uutoni, has inaugurated a N$1,8 million settlement office funded by the Erongo Regional Council at the coastal settlement of Wlotzkasbaken.

Wlotzkasbaken is a settlement about 30 kilometres north of Swakopmund.

Fire ravages 26 shacks in Walvis Bay's Tutaleni

Twenty-six shacks were ravaged by fire last night at Tutaleni in Walvis Bay.

Residents in the Khomas Hochland street at Tutaleni Walvis Bay were rudely awakened by a huge fire that started from one of the shacsks.

Its Chairperson, Benitha Imbamba, says this is an addition to another N$1.2 million the Council budgeted for the current financial year.
