Namibia's tourism sector is gaining international attention as former contestants from the Miss Universe 1992 pageant visit the country for a safari tour, hosted by former Miss Universe Michelle McLean.

Fourteen contestants from the 1992 pageant will be in the country until 23rd March.

Former Miss Namibia and Miss Universe 1992, Michelle McLean-Bailey, was named as the Top Global Business Woman of the Year in Tourism Investment.

McLean-Bailey was honoured by the International Association of Top Professionals in Las Vegas, United States, on Saturday.

Namibian businesswoman and former Miss Universe Michelle McLean has once again been featured on the Nasdaq Billboard in Times Square, in New York City, USA. 

Former Miss Universe Michelle McLean has issued a warning to the public about a fraudulent "diamond profit" scheme that used her name to promote a fake investment opportunity.

McLean clarified that she does not endorse the scheme and has not authorised its use for her likeness.
