Fishrot accused Sacky Shanghala has asked the trial judge in the Fishrot corruption case to step aside in a recusal application that was heard today.

The Windhoek Correctional Facility has initiated another attempt to separate multiple Fishrot accused, who are currently housed together in the same unit.
 
The move comes weeks after the High Court found that the facility acted incorrectly by relocating them unilaterally.
 

The High Court is expected to deliver a ruling today on whether nine charges against Fishrot accused Nigel van Wyk will be dropped.

Prosecutor General Martha Imalwa faced a setback as the Windhoek High Court denied her application for a restraint order against two implicated entities in the Fishrot corruption scandal.

Former fishermen Daniel Nailonga and Johny Nefungo, retrenched due to the Fishrot corruption scandal, shared how this crisis has severely impacted their lives.

Another legal battle has emerged at the High Court, tied to the infamous Fishrot scandal, as Nigel Van Wyk faces staunch opposition from the Prosecutor General in his attempt to seek review and overturn some charges against him.
